Job Title: Journeyman Location: Poulsbo-Kitsap CountyJob Summary: As a journeyman in construction, you will be responsible for performing skilled work in the designated trade or profession. Working under limited supervision, you will utilize your expertise to complete tasks efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.Responsibilities:Execute assigned tasks according to blueprints, specifications, and instructions.Utilize hand and power tools to perform various tasks in the trade/profession.Install, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, or systems as required.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine appropriate solutions.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as needed.Qualifications:Demonstrated experience and proficiency in performing tasks associated with the trade/profession.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina.Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor settings.Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.Note: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not exhaustive.
