They desire a seasoned nanny who is committed to a longer-term journey with their family, aiming to integrate the nanny as an integral member. Both parents maintain hybrid work schedules, spending several days at home each week. The schedule entails Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, with occasional flexibility as needed, including occasional evening assistance, such as once a month for a date night.The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of infant care experience, while a BA/BS college degree or AA in a related field (e.g., elementary education) is preferred but not mandatory. Essential qualifications include Infant CPR and First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain it, along with experience in early development milestones like potty training, walking, and infant education. Conversational English, bilingual a plus! Candidates must be immunized and willing to provide proof, hold a valid US drivers license, possess reliable transportation, maintain a clean driving record, and be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline.The family seeks an individual passionate about working with children, possessing a deep love and understanding of child learning and development, including reading, organizing creative art projects, and engaging in outdoor activities. Strong communication skills, a willingness to receive feedback, and collaboration with parents on childcare are essential. The ideal candidate should also be reliable, punctual, and organized.Responsibilities include providing comprehensive childcare such as changing, bottle/meal preparation, feeding and cleanup, bathing, reading, playing games, and organizing outdoor activities. Additional duties involve childs laundry, organizing/tidying up after the child, and light housekeeping. Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment is paramount, with engagement in age-appropriate activities to promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Maintaining a consistent daily routine agreed upon with parents and communicating about daily activities, developmental milestones, and concerns are crucial. Transportation to classes or appointments when parents are unavailable is expected.The pay is $35+/hr gross via payroll. The start date is flexible in June 2024, and benefits include 5 paid sick days, 2 weeks of PTO, and paid holidays.
